Vogue is at it Again ( India )

They just won't stop making these annoying fashion " statements". Vogue India is published in a country where millions of entire families make it on $1.25 a day. Their latest "statement"? Even people with tuberculosis can look fly. Vogue is putting India's toothless poor in overpriced designer gear. This baby is rocking a $100 Fendi bib, but how much food does he have to spit up?

Wild Seed Boutique opens in ATL...( Do it Kiki!)

Love goes out to my girl Kiki ( Kianga Peterson). Her new boutique Wild Seed is on and popping in ATL. For those of you reading this blog in Atlanta, I can vouch for her good taste, go check it out. They just got a mention in Daily Candy and I just ran into Jen (St. Agnes) of Worship Worthy fame, who was flying down just this friday to work on promotions. Kik is a highly experienced designer who has worked in a diverse range of brands Heatherette-Sean John. What I love about my girl is that she will casually mention over drinks that she is planning on taking over the world...next thing you know she has Wisconsin and South Dakota on lock. I love it ! She is joined by partners Set Shakur ( Tupac's Sister), and Custom Tailor Tamúra White.
I will be in ATL next weekend, I'll be dragging some friends to see the new spot.

P.S. Kik, we're doing Martini night in queens,( yes QUEENS)–don't trip. Jazzy Phae is bringing the tequila. lol

Fired Up Ready-to-Wear! : Streetwear Designers Get Political

I come across these tees when I'm working. From Obey to Freshjive Garment Designers are getting in the mix. Everyone is excited. Hey 'Lea-lee. I tried to be fair and find some Hillary tee's...but they only had the one. Ha ha!

Goorin's Artist Collection

As usual NY artist Daniel St. George hipped me to something new (Thanks Daniel). One of the guys who works with Goorin is crashing on his couch and I have learned... Goorin is doing a collabo with San Francisco artist's Minna 1333(an alliance of artist's and designers started in 2005). Now while I wouldn't suggest actually wearing these hats (well honestly that's ure business-smile), they are pretty hot to look at, the craftmanship is sick. The hats run from $65 and up, bags run about $150 or so...
